Hardware
Custom sensor systems, electronics, and IoT hardware. Advisory-only or full build. We design, prototype, and deploy.
What it is
We design and build custom electronics, from sensor nodes and data loggers through to full embedded systems with firmware. We also do advisory-only engagements: if you have a hardware requirement and need someone to evaluate options, spec it out, or review a vendor proposal, we can do that without committing to a full build. Either way, you get engineers who do this on real hardware, not consultants reading datasheets.
Who it's for
- →Businesses that need remote monitoring of assets, equipment, or environments
- →Operators who need a custom interface for existing machinery
- →Directors evaluating an IoT investment and wanting an independent technical view
- →Anyone with a hardware requirement and no in-house electronics capability
Examples
- →Environmental sensors: moisture, temperature, humidity
- →Custom HMIs for machinery and equipment
- →Wireless asset trackers and remote data loggers
- →Remote monitoring systems with alerting and dashboards
- →Electronics feasibility studies and hardware specification reports
- →PCB design, embedded firmware, and enclosure specification
What you get
- →Feasibility assessment and specification before any hardware commitment
- →Full design, prototype, and deployment pipeline if proceeding to build
- →PCB layout, embedded firmware, enclosure design and production package handled end-to-end
- →Direct access to the engineers throughout. No handoffs.
Common questions
- Do you offer advice only, or do you build the hardware too?
- Both. If you just need someone to evaluate options, spec a system, or review a vendor proposal, we do advisory-only engagements without committing to a build. If you want it built, we take it from design through prototype to deployment. You choose how far you want us to go.
- How much does a custom hardware project cost?
- It depends heavily on what you are building and how many units you need. We usually start with a feasibility assessment and specification, which gives you a clear picture of cost before any hardware commitment. No blind quotes.
- Can you monitor equipment or assets remotely?
- Yes. Remote monitoring is one of the most common things we build: sensor nodes and data loggers that report back to a dashboard with alerting, so you know the state of your assets, equipment, or environment without being on site.
- What can you actually design and build in-house?
- PCB layout, embedded firmware, sensor selection, and enclosure specification, handled end to end. These are engineers who work on real hardware, not consultants reading datasheets.
- We have a hardware idea but no electronics team. Can you help?
- That is exactly who this is for. If you have a requirement and no in-house electronics capability, we can take it from a rough idea to a working, deployed system, or just help you decide whether it is worth doing at all.
- Do you help with production and manufacturing?
- If you proceed to a build, we deliver a production package: PCB design, firmware, and enclosure specification ready for manufacture. We can also advise on production options and review manufacturing quotes.
